The team had the opportunity to hear from expert speakers around the world who came to share the challenges and potential of artificial intelligence in their sectors. On October 4th, 2024, the PRECISE Center hosted the PRECISE Industry Day, celebrating its 16th anniversary. Dr. Lama Al-Aswad was a moderator on the panel "Driving Adaptive AI Collaboration: Navigating Innovation in Industry, Healthcare, and Regulatory Spheres." She drove the discussion between Xiaoying Wu, Ravi Krishnan, and Amitha Domalpally, who explored the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence in various sectors with a special focus on ophthalmology. The prompts tackled critical issues such as data sharing, interoperability standards, and patient safety. A big thank you to the panelists who brought their expertise to the discussion!
