The Visi Health team—Dr. Lama Al-Aswad, Dr. Almiqdad Saeed, and Rina Nagatani—was selected for the prestigious Penn Health Tech Bootcamp and Accelerator Program. After months of early-stage customer discovery and market analysis, the team delivered a standout pitch and secured a major grant to advance their work. With Penn Health Tech’s support, they are now moving into prototyping and testing, as Dr. Saeed leads the charge into the next phase of clinical innovation. This milestone highlights the lab’s commitment to transforming research into real-world solutions that improve patient care.

Building on this momentum, the team also successfully completed the Fall 2025 Regional I-Corps program. Over five weeks, they conducted 20 more customer discovery interviews and presented their findings on an identified beachhead market, refining their target audience and uncovering potential secondary opportunities. Their adaptability and dedication embody the spirit of I-Corps, turning research insights into impactful solutions. With these achievements, the Visi Health team is now advancing the prototyping phase, positioning themselves for continued innovation and growth.
